COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE:

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with our services, please inform us so that we can informally discuss and resolve the issue. Should you remain dissatisfied after this, you may send us a written formal complaint and we will endeavour to resolve the issue and respond in writing. Making a complaint will not affect how we handle your case.


Should you however remain dissatisfied, you may complain to the Legal Ombudsman, PO Box 6167, Slough, SL1 0EH, tel. 0300 555 0333. For more information see www.legalombudsman.org.uk.


Before accepting a complaint, the Legal Ombudsman will check that you have tried to resolve your complaint with us first. If you have not, they may not accept your complaint.


The Legal Ombudsman will look at your complaint independently and it will not affect how we handle your case.


A complaint to the Legal Ombudsman must be made:


• Within six months of receiving our final response to your complaint; and


• No more than one year from the date of the act or omission being complained about; or


• No more than one year from the date when you should reasonably have known that there was cause for complaint.
